Σύντομο Βιογραφικό ΣημείωμαΗ Δρ Αντωνία Μαραζιώτη είναι Aναπληρώτρια Καθηγήτρια Φυσιολογίας και Διευθύντρια του Εργαστηρίου Βασικών Επιστημών στο Τμήμα Φυσικοθεραπείας του Πανεπιστημίου Πελοποννήσου. Έλαβε το πτυχίο της στη Βιολογία (2001) από το Πανεπιστήμιο Πατρών και το MSc (2004) και το διδακτορικό της (2007) στις Νευροεπιστήμες από την Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης. Πραγματοποίησε μεταδιδακτορική εκπαίδευση σε διάφορα εργαστήρια στα πεδία της Καρδιαγγειακής Φυσιολογίας και Αγγειογένεσης (2008-2011), της Βιολογίας Θωρακικών Κακοηθειών (2011-2017) και Θεραπευτικής στόχευσης με τη χρήση της Νανοϊατρικής τεχνολογίας (2018-2020). Το 2020 η Δρ. Μαραζιώτη ανέλαβε ως Επιστημονική Συνεργάτης του Τμήματος Φαρμακευτικής σε συνεργασία με το Ινστιτούτο ΙΤΕ/ΙΕΧΜΗ στην Πάτρα, όπου ανέπτυξε ερευνητικές στρατηγικές για τη μελέτη της φυσιολογίας της Οστικής Αναγέννησης (πρόγραμμα Horizon 2020-2024). Το 2021 η Δρ Μαραζιώτη εξελέγη Επίκουρη Καθηγήτρια Φυσιολογίας στο Τμήμα Φυσικοθεραπείας του Πανεπιστημίου Πελοποννήσου. Είναι διευθύντρια του Εργαστηρίου Βασικών Επιστημών, Ακαδημαϊκή Συντονίστρια Eunice, μέλος της Επιτροπής Erasmus, μέλος της Επιτροπής Κατατακτήριων Εξετάσεων και μέλος της Επιτροπής Πρακτικής Άσκησης του Τμήματος Φυσικοθεραπείας.
Η Δρ. Μαραζιώτη έχει δημοσιεύσει πάνω από 45 ερευνητικές δημοσιεύσεις σε διεθνή περιοδικά με κριτές με >2.500 αναφορές, h-index 20, 7 κεφάλαια σε επιστημονικά βιβλία, πάνω από 50 συμμετοχές σε διεθνή και Ελληνικά Συνέδρια και έχει λάβει πολλά βραβεία, μεταξύ των οποίων το Ερευνητικό Βραβείο της Ελληνικής Εταιρείας Έρευνας Μοριακού Καρκίνου και Βραβείο Ερευνητικής Εργασίας από την Ευρωπαϊκή Πνευμονολογική Εταιρεία. Η Δρ. Μαραζιώτη έχει συμμετάσχει σε περισσότερα από 10 ερευνητικά προγράμματα, μεταξύ των οποίων 2 ERC και 2 Horizon. Είναι μέλος Επιστημονικών Εταιρειών όπως American Physiology Society, European Respiratory Society, European Neuroscience Society, Hellenic Society of Physiology, Hellenic Thoracic Society. Έχει διδακτική εμπειρία στη Φυσιολογία του Ανθρώπου, Παθοφυσιολογία, Νευροφυσιολογία, Κλινική Φυσιολογία της Άσκησης, Βιολογία, Φαρμακολογία, Βιοηθική, Μεθοδολογία Έρευνας, Ζωϊκά Μοντέλα ανθρώπινων νόσων και θεραπευτική στόχευση με τη χρήση της Νανοτεχνολογίας από το 2007 σε διάφορα Τμήματα και Πανεπιστήμια, όπως η Ιατρική και Φαρμακευτική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών, στο προ - και μεταπτυχιακό επίπεδο.
